I am contributing to dependency-analyzer open source project. It visualizes dependencies and thus is helping to grasp software complexity in terms of dependencies. for dependency meta information it uses the project meta model of Maven2. This way dependencies of Maven2 projects can be better supervised and maintenance can be improved.
