Good opportunity to come together with friends is to play board games. To find the game which fits you just have a look at Micha’s Spiel mit mir or Hall9000 and explore the games. For my side currently I play following the most and can highly recommend:

Abalone

Game very easy to learn and game situation vary always.

Babel

Very nice card/board game where tacticts play a good role. At the start a bit confusing but after a while rules are obvious and easy to remember.

Caylus

Perfect strategic game, no dice or anything, so if you lose you cannot blame the luck :)

Bohnanza

Card game where you trade with funny beans, great humor.

Ohne Furcht und Adel

Card game where you need to know your opponents well. Further more easy to learn and well playable with up to 7 people.
